con⋅cen⋅tra⋅tion–noun  kon-suhn-trey-shuhn   1.exclusive attention to one object; close mental application (Dictionary.com)
It's World Series time, it's professional baseball's biggest spotlight.  The next time you watch a baseball game, notice how the pitcher stares at the catcher before throwing the ball. The pitchers uses concentration to improve performance, or to do exactly what is needed to perform best.  Despite several controversial umpire calls, N.Y. Yankee's pitcher, C.C. Sabathia displayed intentional concentration leading his team to victory in the game last night. Leaders intentionally concentrate on every thought and motion with an intensity that they can not be distracted into making mistakes.
Use CONCENTRATION TO IMPROVE PERFORMANCE:
  1. Relax- use deep breathing to fill your lungs and refresh your thoughts.
  2. Visualization- using your imagination, paint a picture of what you want the end result to look like. Mind over matter!
  3. Tune out Distractions- recognize and identify distractions. Intentionally dismiss the clutter.
The most common source of error in any endeavor is failure to concentrate. Find your focus.
