It's World Series time, it's professional baseball's biggest spotlight.  The next time you watch a baseball game, notice how the pitcher stares at the catcher before throwing the ball. The pitchers uses concentration to improve performance, or to do exactly what is needed to perform best.  Despite several controversial umpire calls, N.Y. Yankee's pitcher, C.C. Sabathia displayed intentional concentration leading his team to victory in the game last night. Leaders intentionally concentrate on every thought and motion with an intensity that they can not be distracted into making mistakes.

The Wounded Warrior Project provides support to United States Military personnel injured while engaged in war.  Many Wounded Warriors are stationed in San Antonio during their rehabilitation process.  Saturday I was involved in a fundraiser to support The Wounded Warrior Project sponsored by Alamo Crossfit in San Antonio, Texas.

I'll try to explain how it worked: 51 individual  athletes engaged in a grueling, 17 minute ultra-intense physical fitness performance.  Each participant  collected sponsorship money in exchange for their effort. San Antonio, Tx--- Sidney Hurlbert--Exceptional Customer Service PDF Print E-mail
I had the honor of meeting Sidney Hurlbert Wednesday in San Antonio, Tx.  Do you know Sid?  For 39 years Sid has traveled the United States helping individuals and businesses provided exceptional customer service.  For this Sid, I say "Thank You!"

You see, I am a fan--a fanatic of exceptional customer service. In my opinion, there is little that can compare to receiving a level of service that is unmatched.  Today, many people consider good service anything other than bad service!  Not Sid, his message is simple....if you give to people what you want back...your day will change--for the better.

Goals set for you are not realistic, not attainable and rarely involve your buy-in.
